Llama Branch Display – Murrumbateman Field Days

Llama Branch Display - Murrumbateman Field Days

Saturday afternoon was Auriga Llamas turn to meet people at the llama display at the Murrumbateman Field Days. The most common questions were about fleece as we were introducing people to llama Magics Lla Poleon who had just been shorn and Mahogany who was still in full fleece as a comparison. And in answer to the most common question – Yes you can spin, knit and felt with llama fleece.

Llamas in Australia

A word of advice. If you are going to be of a top rating TV show whilst at work, find out before hand. At least you can wear a clean shirt ( not your old farm clothes) and brush your hair. – Purple was never my colour 🙂

Mineral lick as fashion statement

Gem into mineral lick

Gem hasn’t been into the makeup bag ( although she is a bit of a princess). She has discovered the block of mineral lick and the nose and lips are coloured accordingly.
